The ideal candidate will possess the experience, vision, commitment, and integrity to successfully support the strategic goals of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T). This position provides program management support to programs and projects. In addition, it supports the execution of programmatic activities through aiding in the development of a variety of documentation types, as well as supporting the planning and execution of testing and other events. This position is onsite in New York, NY.

In this role you will be expected to:

  • Provide program management support for RDT&E activities
  • Develop program documents, such as charters, program/project plans, statements of work, reports, policies and procedures.
  • Assist with planning and execution of test events.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of relevant experience or Associate’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and DHS Suitability.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Operational, programmatic, or management experience supporting DoD and/or DHS components (e.g., TSA, CBP, FPS, CISA, CWMD, USCG, ICE).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a high pressure, fast paced atmosphere.
  • Experience supporting DHS components and agencies.
  • Demonstrated experience assisting the development and execution of Testing & Evaluation (T&E) strategies and drafting reporting documents.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience planning and running testing events.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • An active Secret Security Clearance and DHS Suitability.
