Our client is looking for an experienced Mid-Level System Administrator to join a growing team. As a System Administrator, supporting the Government, you will be trusted to manage data within hardware, software, storage, and bandwidth constraints. This position will report to Fort Belvoir, VA.

You will be expected to be able to:

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of the concepts involved in the specific functions outlined in the specified labor category description.

In this role, job responsibilities may include:

  • Manage software licenses.
  • Update software images.
  • Troubleshoot and remediate software applications.
  • Install and software applications.
  • Monitor and report software application performance metrics.
  • Develop, implement, and update backup and recovery procedures.
  • Maintain STIG compliance as required.
  • Operate and maintain vSphere application.
  • Manage the Active Directory AD Domain with windows systems and servers and Linux systems.
  • Coordinate lifecycle equipment replacement.
  • Forecast hardware and software requirements.
  • Maintain equipment.
  • Conduct CD/DVD handling procedures.
  • Document processes and procedures.
  • Provide customer support.

Education and Experience:

  • At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Training and Certifications:

  • DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technician – Level III

Security Clearance:

  • TS SCI
