So, what will the Senior Project Engineer do?

This person will work closely with engineers to perform Civil Engineering design work. They are responsible for setting up and draft plans by analyzing sketches, field notes, and other input material to determine the best approach for the completion of drawings.

What does a typical day look like for the Senior Project Engineer?

You will:

  • Perform design work such as conceptual layouts, grading, and drainage, associated with civil engineering projects
  • Work alongside existing office staff/management to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines
  • Work with numerous project teams to help in project completion
  • Complete assignments of increased difficulty as proficiency are increased

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the Senior Project Engineer we’re looking for if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • A Pennsylvania Professional Engineer (PE) registration or the ability to acquire a Virginia PE through reciprocity within 6 months is required
  • Proficiency in technical skills in stormwater management, NPDES permitting, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, grading, and other site development related designs.
  • Demonstrated Civil 3D skills with the ability to design site layouts concept through completion
  • Knowledge of local city, county and state land use processes and regulations (PA)
