Our client is currently seeking a Test & Evaluation (T&E) Project Management Analyst. The ideal candidate will possess the experience, vision, commitment, and integrity to successfully support the strategic goals of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T). This position provides program and project management support to DHS S&T RDT&E programs and projects that support efforts to test, evaluate, and assess emerging and commercial technology in operational and laboratory settings with the purpose of developing new tools and capabilities to help first responders prepare, protect, and respond to homeland security threats. This position is onsite in New York, NY or offsite with travel.

In this role you will be expected to:

  • Assist with developing program and project management documents for RDT&E programs and projects (e.g., charters, project plans, statements of work, reports, policies and procedures).
  • Assist with the planning and execution of testing events.
  • Management of program and project documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of relevant experience or Associate’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in government test and evaluation of technology in operational and laboratory settings.
  • Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and DHS Suitability.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Operational, programmatic, or management experience supporting DoD and/or DHS components (e.g., TSA, CBP, FPS, CISA, CWMD, USCG, ICE).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team-oriented environment, demonstrate teamwork and initiative, and function productively in the face of new assignments and the re-prioritization of existing assignments.
  • Strong communication and writing skills, targeting both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience working in technical and operational integrated product teams.
  • Ability to facilitate feedback discussions to effectively elicit inputs to data collection results.
  • Experience providing guidance, feedback, and consulting services to federal program managers.
  • Experience monitoring project development performance and reviewing deliverables to ensure technical, programmatic and financial goals and objectives are met and identify possible program risks.
  • Experience providing program and/or project management support in on research and development contracts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • An active Secret Security Clearance and DHS Suitability.
